The annual Marcum MicroCap Conference is dedicated to providing a forum where publicly traded companies with less than $500 million in market capitalization can network with the investment community. Marcum was proud to again partner with KCSA Strategic Communications to present the 2015 Marcum MicroCap Conference.

In order to accommodate investor interest and provide a showcase for early stage growth companies, in 2015 the conference was expanded to include an additional half-day dedicated exclusively to nanocap and pre-IPO enterprises. Presentations from these companies took place on Day One, followed by presentations from more mature publicly traded microcap companies on Day Two. In 2016, the conference will be further expanded to two full days.

Presenting companies will be in the following industry sectors for 2016:

  • Technology, Media & Internet
  • Software & Business Services
  • Life Science & Healthcare
  • Retail & Consumer Products
  • Energy & Natural Resources
  • Industrials
  • Financials & Asset Management Services

This event attracts fund managers and high net worth investors who focus on small cap equities. Over 2,000 participants from all segments of the microcap market participated in 2015. Attendees included senior management, finance and legal executives, venture and lower middle-market private equity investors, institutional investors, directors, investment bankers, buy- and sell-side analysts, and service providers to the microcap marketplace.

A keynote address by a distinguished business leader is a highlight of the event each year. In 2015, our keynote speaker was Richard Fuld, Jr., chairman of Matrix Advisors and former chairman and CEO of Lehman Brothers.
