Accounting Services Senior/Supervisor

Senior Accountant with 3-7 years experience to work with client base around the New York Metro area.

• Prepare financial statements, GAAP knowledge for review level f/s
• Tax preparation for individuals and closely held businesses, g/l maintenance, sales and payroll taxes
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel a must
• Prior experience with Epace and FastTax software a plus.
• BS/BBA in Accounting, CPA license, strong time management and communication skills are required
• Position available in our Long Island office

Qualifications

• 3-6 years experience in Municipal, Forensic or Corporate Accounting, Tax and/or Auditing.
• RMA (Registered Municipal Accountant) preferred; not mandatory.
• CPA or eligible to sit for or already have taken one or more parts of the CPA exam.
• Will have the ability to interact comfortably with clients and manage those relationships.
• Exhibit a genuine interest in establishing new contacts and relationships and creating new business opportunities for the Firm.

Accountants with 3-7 years experience needed to work with our diverse client base around the NY Metro area. Position requires:

• BS/BBA in Accounting
• Strong quantitative, analytical and technology capabilities
• Prior public accounting experience performing audits, compilations and reviews with a diverse industry background.

SEC experience is a plus. Melville and New York City offices.

Managers with approximately 8+ years of auditing experience who can direct a team and act as a true "advisor" to his/her clients. 

Experience may include working on SEC clients, public offerings, due diligence for M&As, operational reviews and risk management strategy as well as review/oversight of the financial audit work.  Position requires:

B.S./M.S. in Accounting
CPA license
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well independently in an entrepreneurial and creative environment.

Hedge Tax Manager

Highly skilled tax generalist with broad-based experience in Public Accounting to:

• Prepare individual, corporate and partnership returns with specialized knowledge of investment partnerships and hedge funds.
• Strong research, writing, communication and computer skills a must.
• GoSystems experience a plus.
• BS/BBA in Accounting or Taxation or equivalent experience.
• Position based in our Long Island office.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in the preparation and review of individual, trust, and corporate income tax returns and projections.
• CPA or eligible to sit for or already have taken one or more parts of the CPA exam.
• Confident in dealing with small to medium sized business owners.
• Capable of providing tax, accounting and consulting services competently and professionally.
• Ability to maintain client relationships on a personal basis.
• Exhibit a genuine interest in establishing new contacts and relationships and creating new business opportunities for the Firm.
