Description The CT Supreme Court decision in the State of CT vs. Lombardo Bros Masonry et. al case will have an immense impact on the construction industry in the State of Connecticut.

CT ABC, Marcum LLP, Bruen Deldin Didio Associates, Inc., Accordant, and Maffe Financial Group will present an informational session on the decision, how it will affect your business, and what is being done to change the law.

Using the Common Law Doctrine Nullum Tempus, the decision declares that the State is not subject to any statute of limitations on state funded construction projects. This means the state can bring claims for damages against contractors and design professionals for an infinite amount of time, possibly even against their estates. The only way to change the law is through legislative action.
Presenters Chris Syrek, Vice President, CT ABC
