2015 Marcum MicroCap Conference Featured in Crain's Article, "Seven Years Later, Dick Fuld Opens Up – Sort of – on Lehman's Failure."

The former Lehman Brothers CEO spoke Thursday in a public forum for the first time since the bank’s 2008 collapse. “You don’t have the time to hear all the things I would have done differently,” he said.

Mr. Fuld, who built a global investment bank with 27,000 employees, resurfaced at a modest venue: a conference sponsored by the Marcum accounting firm that featured biotechnology companies and other tiny upstarts making their sales pitches to investors at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Even though Lehman’s failure happened long ago, Mr. Fuld still appears to travel carefully—five security guards flanked the stage, and two stood next to almost every entrance to the hotel ballroom in which he spoke.
