Frank Rudewicz Brings Investigative Expertise to Firm's Advisory Services Group

Frank E. Rudewicz recently joined Marcum as Principal and Counsel, and heads the New England Forensic, Investigative and Valuation Advisory practice. He is an attorney, as well as a licensed private investigator and holds Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and Certified Protection Professional designations. He has more than 26 years experience conducting domestic and international investigations for anti-trust/anti-competitive issues, harassment, fraud, ethics and other employment related conduct

Mr. Rudewicz has been involved in numerous, high profile and sensitive engagements regarding computer forensics, litigation support, investigations, compliance and security assessments. His investigative work has led to numerous media appearances including Dateline NBC, the Forensic Files and 60 Minutes II. Forensic Files featured his investigation and subsequent conviction of an individual responsible for a $6 million dollar international insurance fraud. In addition to investigating employee misconduct for a variety of entities, Mr. Rudewicz has conducted independent investigations of numerous law enforcement agencies concerning allegations of racial profiling, officer misconduct and departmental practices.

Mr. Rudewicz is also a recognized expert on security and workplace violence prevention, and lectures and teaches frequently on these topics. He often provides expert testimony and conducts independent inquiries for a variety of employee misconduct issues. Mr. Rudewicz served as a Security Consultant for the Athens 2004 Olympics and its numerous sponsors.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Rudewicz was the Managing Director and Special Counsel for a consulting firm. He also served as Senior Managing Director and Counsel for an international risk consulting and investigative firm. Mr. Rudewicz formerly held positions as the Director of Corporate Security and Emergency Management for a financial institution, as well as a principal owner of a law practice. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years in law enforcement with the Hartford Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and holds private investigative licenses.
