Helen Liao Joins Marcum as Partner in Melville
New York City, NY – Helen Liao, CPA, has joined the Melville, Long Island, office of Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory services firm, as a Partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services division. She is a member of the Technical Review and Quality Control Group.
From 2000 until 2014, Ms. Liao was a Partner in a NYC-based accounting firm, handling the technical review of work papers and financial statements, and supervising the Firm’s professional staff. She was also responsible for overseeing the Firm’s annual inspection and for establishing and updating the Firm’s quality control system and policy and procedures manual. Previously, she was a Technical Reviewer / Audit Manager with Marcum & Kliegman (now Marcum LLP).
Ms. Liao graduated from Pace University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Aspen University in in 2009. She maintains memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
