Jeffrey Solomon has been admitted as Connecticut PIC of assurance services by New York-based Marcum LLP (FY13 net revenue of $350.2 million). Based in New Haven, Conn., Solomon will additionally be responsible for assurance services to clients of the firm’s Hartford and Greenwich, Conn., offices.
Solomon has more than 15 years of experience managing, reviewing and analyzing financial information for both privately held and public U.S. and multinational clients in various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, high technology, higher education and health care, as well as pension plans and tribal entities. His expertise includes SOX compliance, auditing and accounting, internal audit department outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, implementation of new accounting pronouncements and financing alternatives.
