Marcum LLP 2019 Day of Service – Marcum Associates Again Volunteer to Help Feed America
New York City, NY – Associates and partners in all U.S. offices of Marcum LLP will once again leave their laptops and calculators behind the day before Thanksgiving — November 27 this year — to help ensure those in need in Marcum communities have food for the holiday and beyond. All Marcum offices will be closed for business, a Firm tradition, so that Marcum staff can spend the day volunteering with local nonprofit organizations working to alleviate hunger.
The Marcum Day of Service is a paid Philanthropy Day for all Marcum staff. It is open to all Marcum affiliates in the U.S., including Marcum LLP, Marcum Financial Services, Marcum Wealth Management, Marcum Technology, Marcum Search, Marcum Staffing, and Marcum Bernstein and Pinchuk.
Approximately 46 nonprofits across the country (including several with programs in multiple regions) will participate.
Established in 2015, the Marcum Day of Service was conceived as a way to give Marcum associates the opportunity to come together in a collaborative activity on a single day to support the charitable mission of the Marcum Foundation, which supports nonprofit organizations in communities where the Firm has offices. The annual Day of Service theme is feeding America.
