Marcum CPAs Participate in ClimbAmerica! To Raise Funds and Awareness for Heart Disease

New York City – Employees at the Boston office of Marcum LLP climbed the stairs of historic Fenway Park on June 7, 2014 to help raise funds for education, programming and life-saving research for heart disease prevention. Marcum was represented in the annual ClimbAmerica! fundraiser by a team of four spirited CPAs from the national accounting firm. This is one of many charitable events Marcum employees are proud to participate in throughout the summer.

ClimbAmerica! is a climbathon hosted by Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s ClimbCorps to raise funds and awareness to fight heart disease, America’s #1 killer. This summer, they took this unique and exciting event to new heights at Fenway Park – the oldest major league ballpark in the United States. On June 7, 2014, thousands of climbers came together to make history, climbing the stairs of Boston’s historic Fenway Park to have fun, get moving and help make a difference in the fight against heart disease.
