Marcum Financial Services Expands Into New England; JoAnne DePalma Named Director

New York City, NY – Marcum Financial Services, the financial planning, benefits consulting and brokerage affiliate of accounting firm Marcum LLP, has expanded into New England. JoAnne DePalma, CFP, has been named as the Firm’s first director in the region.

Based in Marcum’s New Haven, Connecticut, office, Ms. DePalma will provide retirement, individual and group insurance advisory and management services to individuals and business owners. She has nearly 15 years of investment analysis, asset allocation and financial planning experience, including starting the Wealth Management Services practice for a New England accounting firm and opening and managing the first Private Banking Office in the New Haven area for a local financial institution.

Ms. DePalma holds an accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Quinnipiac University. She is a Certified Financial Planner with Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations, as well as life, health and variable annuity insurance licensing.

A resident of Guilford, Ms. DePalma is on the Board of the Orchard House in Branford where she serves as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.
