Marcum LLP’s Beth Wiener Joins Board of Hedge Funds Care

New York City, NY – Beth M. Wiener, Partner-in-Charge of the national Alternative Investment Group at Marcum LLP, has joined the global Board of Directors of Hedge Funds Care. Marcum is a top national accounting and advisory firm. Hedge Funds Care is an international charity dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse.

Marcum has been a sponsor of Hedge Funds Care for more than a decade. Firm partners in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco support the organization through fundraising and events. Since 1998, Hedge Funds Care has awarded over $32 million in 900 grants globally.

Based in Marcum’s Melville, New York office, Ms. Wiener oversees the firm’s hedge fund and private investment partnership practice. She is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and has been a Board member on the firm’s Women’s Leadership Development Committee. She is an active member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds and also serves on the Investment Companies Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
