Marcum LLP’s Jeffrey M. Weiner Named Managing Partner Elite by Accounting Today

New York City, NYJeffrey M. Weiner, Managing Partner of Marcum, has been named a Managing Partner Elite in the inaugural program launched by Accounting Today in its October 2012 issue. Mr. Weiner was recognized for his “national drive” in growing Marcum from a regional firm to a national leader with 20 offices and 950 employees.

“Few managing partners can boast growth like that, and even fewer could successfully manage the resulting complexity: Weiner’s discipline and vision make all the difference,” the publication wrote.

“Growing the Firm in order to continually expand and enhance our service offering, our talent base and our geographic presence to better meet the needs of our clients is Marcum’s driving mission. It is deeply gratifying to be recognized in this manner, but truly the credit belongs to the outstanding professionals that comprise the Marcum team,” Mr. Weiner said.

The MP Elite program recognizes “a selection of those who exemplify the most important qualities that the [managing director] role requires.” Accounting Today determined that those qualities include strategic planning and succession planning; advanced human resources policies; utilization of technology; and career commitment to their firms.
