Marcum LLP Names Neil Prasad Los Angeles Partner-in-Charge
New York City, NY – Neil Prasad has been named Partner-in-Charge of the Los Angeles office of Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory services firm. The appointment becomes effective today.
In his new role, Mr. Prasad oversees all tax, audit and advisory services to Marcum clients in Los Angeles. He also retains his management responsibilities as Partner-in-Charge of Marcum’s Los Angeles Assurance Services group and continues as a member of the Firm’s SEC Services, National Alternative Investment and Retail & Consumer Products Practice groups.
Mr. Prasad has more than 16 years of experience consulting with clients on SEC policies, practices and procedures, and providing assurance services to publicly traded companies. He is also a trusted advisor to closely held entrepreneurial and investor-backed private clients, providing guidance on cash flow management, financial projections and forecasting, and complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, purchase accounting, debt and equity transactions, and stock-based compensation arrangements.

A resident of Northridge, California, Mr. Prasad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
In addition to Los Angeles, Marcum’s California region also includes offices in Irvine and San Francisco.
