Marcum LLP advanced to #15 in the 2014 Accounting Today Top 100 Firms survey, up from #16 last year. Marcum, a full-service accounting and advisory services firm, was also designated a Pacesetter in Growth, ranking #2 among firms with annual revenues of more than $100 million and #5 overall. In addition, Marcum was named a Top 20 Tax Firm.
The firm’s year-over-year growth was propelled by three regional mergers during 2013. Merged firms included Parent, McLaughlin & Nangle of Boston, MA, in January; Cornerstone Accounting Group of New York City in April; and WilsonMorgan of Irvine, CA, in July.
