Spotlight on Marcum's Breakfast @ 750 Series
Marcum’s Alternative Investment Group is pleased to announce the first Breakfast @ 750 event of 2011, featuring guest speaker Patrick Kane from Oppenheimer Asset Management. Drawing from his experience managing over $3 billion in hedge funds and private equity, Mr. Kane will discuss the changing landscape of the alternatives industry, including how to raise capital and exploring international opportunities.
Mr. Kane joins a distinguished panel of speakers who have contributed to Marcum’s Breakfast @ 750 series. Launched in 2010, these breakfast events provide the perfect blend of networking opportunities for fund professionals along with practical perspective from industry experts.
This fall, the inaugural event featured Ron Suber of Merlin Securities and was filled to capacity within days of being announced. Other speakers have included Anthony Scaramucci of Skybridge Capital and author of Goodbye Gordon Gecko: How to Find Your Fortune Without Losing Your Soul, and Phil Gocke, Managing Partner at the Options Industry Council and President of Brite Sky LLC. These events generated interesting discussion amongst those in attendance and provided attendees with an introduction to many industry professionals.
