Gregory Giugliano, Partner

Greg is the Partner-in-Charge of Assurance Services for Marcum and is based at the Firm's Long Island headquarters. With over 20 years of experience, he has developed considerable expertise encompassing SEC regulations, accounting, auditing, business forecasting, international operations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, management consulting, and quality control. Greg has assisted numerous clients with the intricacies of becoming publicly traded and with the myriad of issues faced by today's SEC registrants, including capital raising, stock compensation, and revenue recognition.

Greg has been a frequent lecturer before professional groups, including the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. His subject matter has ranged from "Accounting for Lawyers" to technical SEC accounting, and auditing updates. Greg has also performed Peer Reviews of other CPA firms under the auspices of the SEC Practice Section and Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Division for firms.

Greg received a Masters in Business Administration from Pace University, magna cum laude in accounting. Before joining Marcum, he spent fourteen years at a mid-sized New York City-based regional accounting firm, including the past seven years as a Partner. The first four years of Greg's public accounting career were spent at a "Big Five" firm, working with SEC and other audit clients.

Professional and Civic Affiliations

Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In the New York State Society, he is a member of both the Financial Accounting Standards Committee and the Nassau Chapter's Accounting and Auditing Procedures Committee.
