Stephen D. Lassar is a Partner in the Firm’s New York City office. As a trusted advisor and business counselor, he successfully helps clients plan their current and future trust and estate needs. In addition to his role with the Firm, Mr. Lassar serves as the Managing Partner of Goldfinger & Lassar LLP, a law firm focused on estate planning and corporate law.

Mr. Lassar has been practicing public accounting for more than 35 years. He has extensive experience working with a broad range of estate planning tools including QPRTSs, GRATs, CRUTs, CLATs and NIMCRUTs. His unique ability to strategically solve problems involving the transfer of wealth from generation to generation has helped numerous clients avoid or minimize gift taxes.

Mr. Lassar joined the Firm in 2007. Previously, he was a Director with a publicly-traded accounting and financial services company. His earlier experience includes serving as a Partner in several accounting firms. A past lecturer on various estate planning matters, Mr. Lassar has led continuing professional education courses.
