Ted Ibex is a Partner in the Firm’s Tinton Falls, New Jersey office and leads its Commercial Litigation Support department. Working closely with clients in both the private and governmental sectors, Mr. Ibex provides business valuation, damage quantification, forensic investigations, accounting, advisory and consulting services. He and members of his department help clients with financial disputes involving matrimonial, corporate, business and government matters.
Mr. Ibex has more than 35 years of financial and business operations experience in both public and private sectors. As a member of the Firm’s Public Trust group, Mr. Ibex has developed extensive experience providing forensic and advisory services to government and quasi-government agencies.
Service to his community allows Mr. Ibex to be a productive contributor to all aspects of school and government operations, particularly with finance, budget and operational reviews. He spent more than 25 years serving on his school district’s board of education and as an elected official to his local town council. He was appointed to the Borough of Oceanport New Jersey’s Planning Board by its Mayor.
Previously, Mr. Ibex was a Partner with the Firm’s forerunner, which he co-founded and engaged in matters concerning shareholder disputes, bankruptcy, divorce and business valuations while working closely with attorneys in all areas of investigative accounting. He also held executive financial positions with private businesses and began his professional career as a Commercial Audit Manager for a “Big Four” accounting firm. Before commencing his business career, Mr. Ibex served as an Officer in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged from active service in 1969.
