About Ethan

Ethan Brysgel is the Firm’s National Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) practice leader. He has over 27 years of experience providing external audit and business advisory services to large and middle market, multi-national public and private enterprises within a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, consumer business, biotech, software, asset management, and healthcare.

Ethan has extensive experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation and compliance, project and cost accounting methods, acquisition “due diligence” assignments, capital raising transactions, stock-based compensation analysis, and the implementation of revenue recognition policies. He has also assisted clients in the preparation of various SEC filings in conjunction with period-end reporting requirements (i.e., 10-K, 20-F) and other business events and transactions (i.e., S-1, S-3, S-4, 8-K).

Ethan has experience performing extensive research and analysis to facilitate the resolution of complex accounting, tax and financial reporting issues, including revenue recognition, equity transactions, stock compensation, business combinations under various accounting principles including, U.S. GAAP, IFRS and UK GAAP, including assistance in the conversion of financial statements to and or from IFRS, U.S., and UK GAAP.

Ethan formerly served as a Global Audit and Business Advisory executive at a “Big Four” accounting firm in London and Connecticut, providing audit and advisory services to a variety of large global clients.
