Ian Manning is partner-in-charge of the Nashville office and a partner in the Assurance Services division, as well as a member of Marcum's national Construction Industry Practice group. He came to Marcum in 2015 via the Firm's merger with DGLF CPAs & Business Advisors, a full-service accounting firm specializing in construction and real estate, with offices in Nashville, Tennessee, and Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Manning has worked in multiple areas of the construction industry for the last 13 years including experience on staff at two contractors prior to entering public accounting. This “other side of the desk” experience has proven advantageous in allowing Mr. Manning to ·see beyond the numbers. Mr. Manning provides assurance and consulting services to contractors and construction-related entities in multiple states. He works closely with equipment-intensive contractors engaged in grading, utility, highway, bridge construction, as well as electrical and railroad contractors.
In addition to traditional audit and accounting services, Mr. Manning regularly assists clients with strategies related to maximizing bonding, banking, multi-state contractor licensing and DOT prequalification.
