Jeffrey Singer is a partner in the Firm's Tax & Business Services division. He joined Marcum in 2015 via the Firm's merger with Frost, Ruttenberg, & Rothblatt P.C., one of the largest full-service accounting firms in the Chicago region.
Prior to the merger, Mr. Singer was a vice president at FROST, where he specialized in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to privately held businesses and high net worth individuals. Additionally, he served as the Firm's risk management director, overseeing various Firm compliance matters, and was the managing member of FR&R Financial Services LLC.
Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Singer has developed broad-based knowledge and experience in a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, homebuilding, healthcare and professional service organizations. His ability to develop close, long-term professional relationships with his clients, both for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations, has enabled him to become their trusted business advisor. While providing guidance ranging from operations to complex business transactions, he strives to assist sole proprietors as well as multimillion-dollar organizations reach their full potential.
Mr. Singer has earned FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Association) Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. He also has a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Financial Planning.Among his accomplishments, Mr. Singer:
- Detected an embezzlement scheme in a group of skilled nursing facilities.
- Suggested specific analysis of various cash flow issues for an organization resulting in significant additional realization.
- Analyzed financial benefits for a client as part of the company's strategic plan to expand into other complementary service areas.
