Christopher Scudero is a Senior Manager in the Firm's New York City office and a member of its Forensics Practice group. He primarily focuses on forensic investigations with a specialty in uncovering fraud and malfeasance for the financial services industry.
Mr. Scudero has more than 15 years of experience providing assurance, accounting and tax services, as well as guiding counsel and their clients through complex litigation and disputes. His in-depth background in the traditional and forensic accounting worlds allow him to provide a unique viewpoint for all types of financial investigations.
Mr. Scudero is often engaged by clients from across the United States for his effective investigative and analytical skills. His acute understanding of the abilities and limitations of technology provide a conduit for the coordination of activities between financial and technical professionals. Mr. Scudero has been accepted by the courts and testified as an expert witness.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2007, Mr. Scudero was a Managing Consultant in the Litigation and Investigations group of a publicly-traded international consulting firm and Senior Consultant in the Forensic and Dispute Services practice of a "Big Four" accounting firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Scudero worked for a mid-sized accounting firm.
Mr. Scudero is very involved with charitable organizations where he lends his forensic accounting expertise. He works with the attorneys of a New York City based not-for-profit that provides free legal services to financially disadvantaged women who are victims of domestic violence. As an experienced investigator, he has trained attorneys from several organizations in investigative techniques.
