Joseph DeSimone CPA*, CVA

Joseph L. DeSimone is a Partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services group. He provides sophisticated auditing, accounting, mergers and acquisitions and general business advisory services to publicly-traded and closely-held companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and construction. Mr. DeSimone’s experience includes serving as the audit partner for one of the country’s oldest international freight-forwarding companies as well as a publicly-traded international manufacturing company.

As a Certified Valuation Analyst, Mr. DeSimone’s experience extends to the Firm’s Advisory Services group representing buyers of businesses. He has an extensive background valuing companies for gift and estate tax purposes, succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to working with clients, Mr. DeSimone oversees the office’s Human Resources Development Program with the recruiting, mentoring and evaluating needs for all professional staff.

Mr. DeSimone has more than 25 years of experience and regularly conducts continuing education seminars for law firms and industry organizations.
