Kathleen Lens CPA*

A seasoned professional, Kathleen A. Lens is an Assurance Partner with nearly 30 years experience overseeing audits and providing tax and business advisory services to closely-held entrepreneurial businesses and their owners. Her diverse client base spans a variety of industries including service, not-for-profit, manufacturing, distribution and broker-dealers.

Ms. Lens’s expertise extends to the Marcum Family Office group and High-Net-Worth Individuals Practice group. She successfully advises the management team of closely-held and family-owned businesses with their day-to-day operations, succession matters, exit strategies, financial growth and estate and personal financial planning. A trusted advisor, Ms. Lens is often engaged by clients to represent their estates as a trustee or executor.

In addition to providing traditional accounting and auditing services, Ms. Lens assists clients with complex transactions that often involve understanding and analyzing profitability and costs, effective management reporting and business planning.

Ms. Lens joined the Firm’s forerunner in 1990 and Co-Chairs the Human Resources committee in its Philadelphia office. Previously, she spent 13 years with a national accounting firm.

Ms. Lens actively participates in business and community organizations. She is involved with various growing companies, serves on business advisory boards and heads the Firm’s corporate sponsorship program for a nonprofit organization that represents women-owned businesses.
