Michael Ambrose

Michael has over 17 years of business advisory experience including commercial real estate transactions and operations, financial modeling and analysis, bankruptcy matters, complex commercial litigation support, and US tax matters. His practice area is currently focused on distressed asset situations, commercial real estate financial and operations consulting, litigation support and forensic accounting. He also advises on select tax issues.

Michael has provided litigation consulting in various matters including failed real estate development / investment deals, investigations for fraud and misappropriation of assets, internal investigations, and business disputes. He has prior experience in commercial real estate transactions as both an advisor and broker including investment analysis, due diligence and negotiation. Before joining Marcum, Michael was Co-Founder and Managing Director of a boutique forensic accounting and financial advisory services firm. Prior to that, he was the founder and operator of a commercial real estate consulting and brokerage firm. Michael also spent over 7 years in tax practice at a Miami-based accounting firm. He was also an instructor for the largest CPA exam preparation review course provider in the U.S. Michael is both a certified public accountant and a licensed real estate broker.
