Sandy Van Keuren CPA*

Sandy Van Keuren is a Tax Director in the Firm’s North California office and a member of its National Alternative Investment and Healthcare industry groups. She has more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience. For the past 14 years, Ms. Van Keuren has been providing diverse public accounting services that include consulting on and identifying tax issues related to entity structuring; capital versus ordinary gain planning; and changes in methods for accounting, tax basis analysis, liability allocations, and family wealth planning.

Additionally, Ms. Van Keuren has extensive experience managing domestic and international tax filings for small corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, High-Net-Worth Individuals, not-for-profit organizations, trusts and estates.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Van Keuren was with a “Big 4” firm where she specialized in consulting and managing tax compliance filings for venture capital, private equity, real estate and REIT entities. Her private industry experiences includes serving as a Controller for companies that owned, managed and provided engineering services to real estate and agriculture properties. She developed and analyzed operating budgets, managed cash flow and administered employee benefit plans.
