Christopher Denton Selected for Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2020
TAMPA, FLORIDA (September 16, 2019) – Marcum LLP, a national business and financial advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Christopher Denton, CISA, has been selected as a participant in the 2020 class of Leadership Tampa Bay, a non-partisan, non-special interest leadership development forum.
Denton is a senior associate in Marcum’s Risk Advisory Services Group. He specializes in leading SOC 1/SOC 2, HITRUST and physical security engagements for private and public businesses across an array of industries. He earned his Bachelor of Science in computer science and graduate certificate in cybersecurity and risk assurance from the University of South Florida.
Leadership Tampa Bay is designed to foster awareness, education and knowledge of major regional issues through learning experiences and discussion among emerging leaders throughout Tampa Bay. More than 1,400 individuals from over 500 businesses and organizations in the region have benefited from the leadership development experience of Leadership Tampa Bay. Participants represent a cross-section of the region, both geographically and professionally, and the alumni roster includes upper management of top corporations, local government leaders, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
The Leadership Tampa Bay class year begins in September and runs through June. Each year, 10 class days focus on regional issues and opportunities. Agendas consist of panel discussions with business, civic and government leaders, question-and-answer sessions and facility tours. Additionally, each class member participates in both an opening and closing retreat, as well as a two-day Tallahassee trip.
