Growth in China
One contributor to Marcum’s continuous growth is seamless integration. Recently, National Partner-In-Charge of Assurance Services Greg Giugliano, Assurance Services Senior Manager Anson Augustine, Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk (MBP) Managing Member Drew Bernstein and MBP Director Scott Small recently demonstrated that no distance is too great to accomplish integration for any Marcum Group client.
The team recently spent a whirlwind six days traveling to Beijing to provide training for all Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk professional staff who gathered there from MBP’s four Far East locations.
The comprehensive training covered the Firm’s assurance procedures and policies that contribute to Marcum’s outstanding reputation. It was also an opportunity for the Marcum Chinese and American practitioners to compare and brainstorm on issues unique to Chinese businesses filing in the United States. Lastly, Marcum teams know from experience, that the better they know each other, the better they work together, so an evening of go-carting greatly enhanced everyone’s time together as well.
We are eagerly awaiting the reciprocal visit from some of our Chinese colleagues when they come to New York in the near future to sit for their CPA licensing examinations in the United States.
