The Long Island Business News selected Giordano as a member of the 2013 class of Long Island’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business which recognizes the significant contributions of women professionals to Long Island’s economy and communities. According to the Long Island Business News, Giordano was selected based upon her professional accomplishments and leadership in the women’s business world. The honorees represent the most influential women in business, government, education and nonprofit fields. The awards ceremony is held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
