Saying it’s seeking to provide better service to a group undeserved by accounting firms, Marcum has formed a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered and non-traditional family practice group.

The accounting and consulting firm, with Long Island offices in Melville, said it’s launching the 40-person practice to focus on the group, which faces unique tax and financial laws and regulations.
