Michele Solomon, Assurance Services Senior Manager, Named to CTCPA’s 2013 "New and Young Professionals to Watch"

The Connecticut Society of CPAs announced the 2013 “New and Young Professionals to Watch,” three emerging leaders age 35 or younger who have differentiated themselves in the accounting profession.
After a call for nominations in the spring, the three honorees were chosen by a panel of accounting professionals for their workplace contributions, community service and CTCPA involvement.
Michele Solomon, Assurance Services Senior Manager at Marcum LLP in New Haven
Solomon leads Marcum’s Connecticut Focus Group, which fields questions and concerns from local employees to implement as improvements to the Marcum experience. She has been an active coordinator in the CTCPA’s annual CPA charity drives, leading the coat drive initiative for the New Haven and Hartford offices and serving as board treasurer for the Prudence Crandall Center and organizer of a team for the annual Connecticut Food Bank’s Walk Against Hunger in New Haven. She also regularly participates in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk and Cystic Fibrosis events.
