Have you experienced any challenges in being out in the workplace? I have been fortunate. I am in an industry where you are judged on financial metrics and so they have that to go off of. I have found that once people know you personally, it is really hard for them to discriminate against you personally. I probably suffered more from being a woman in business in the ’70s and ’80s than from being a gay person. I always say the obstacle is crashing through the ceiling, whether it is glass or rainbow.
