About Gary
Gary Smith is a partner in the Firm’s Long Wharf Drive office in New Haven, Connecticut. He has over 18 years of experience managing, conducting, reviewing, and analyzing financial information for various industries, including healthcare, not-for-profit, governmental, pension plans, and manufacturing and distribution. His experience includes a combination of private company and public accounting, including experience with a “Big 4” accounting firm.
Gary leads audits for numerous healthcare clients, including long-term care facilities, home health, and acute care hospitals, taking a hands-on approach to the day-to-day oversight of audit engagements. He develops accounting policies and procedures with his clients and assists with internal control documentation and analysis.
In addition, Gary develops and leads internal training programs on topics relating to the healthcare industry and single audit engagements.
