John Eckweiler is the Partner-in-Charge of Tax & Business Services for the California region and the National Practice Leader of the Tax Controversy Group. He is also a member of the Firm’s Manufacturing, Retailing and Distribution Practice Group as well as its Construction Services Group.
Mr. Eckweiler has more than 25 years of accounting and business advisory experience working with corporate, individual, non-profit and partnership tax entities. His background also includes a stint with the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent.
Mr. Eckweiler’s prior experience has made him an invaluable resource for closely-held companies and high-net-worth individuals. This expertise has allowed him to successfully represent many clients before several federal, state, and local taxing authorities. In addition, it has granted him the opportunity to contribute to many industry publications including the AICPA’s publication The Tax Adviser.
