About Adi

Adi Rubin is a partner in Marcum’s Managed Accounting Services division. With over 20 years of accounting experience, she has centered her practice on supporting nonprofit organizations with their accounting and governance needs. She is responsible for month-end closings, financial analysis and reporting, 2 CFR 200 compliance, maintaining internal controls, managing cash flows, and overseeing staff. Her areas of focus include grant reporting and compliance, interim staffing, audit preparedness, policy assessment, and new technology implementation.

Adi previously worked at a boutique public accounting firm, assisting for-profit and nonprofit clients with their full accounting cycles, through financial statement and tax preparation. She worked with and volunteered for several nonprofits as treasurer and controller, where she established accounting systems, analyzed costs, improved the organizations’ work process, implemented internal controls, and trained staff on proper procedures. Additionally, Adi managed the full accounting process, including general ledger, month-end close, cost center allocations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and payroll.

Adi customizes solutions to her clients’ needs to ensure long-term, sustainable results. She manages her engagements with an emphasis on developing teams, to allow them to prioritize their mission.

Adi is a licensed CPA in Washington, DC and the state of California and is a member of the AICPA. She holds a BS in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and speaks proficient Hebrew.
