Alex Ho

About Alex

Alex Ho is a partner in the tax department in the Firm’s San Jose office. He has over thirteen years of public accounting experience focusing on taxation of closely held businesses and how income flows to their owners. Alex works with small and large ownership groups that have complex ownership structures across multi generations. The various industries he has worked with include real estate, sports & entertainment, recreation and technology. Within these industries, Alex assists his clients with tax planning, business consulting and multi-state compliance.

Prior to joining Marcum, Alex has been with a couple mid-size regional firms in the Bay Area. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and also attained his Masters of Science in Taxation. Alex is heavily involved with the internal training, mentorship and college recruiting programs within Marcum.
