About Andrew

Andrew Limbek is a director in the Firm’s Financial Accounting and Advisory (FAAS) services practice. Mr. Limbek has more than 15 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, public company compliance, technical accounting, process improvement, financial modeling, and due diligence.

Andrew’s technical proficiency includes US GAAP, internal controls (SOX), and SEC reporting (10-K, S-8, S-1, DEF 14A). He has provided services to both private and public companies with a particular focus on the clinical laboratories, life sciences, and professional services industries. Andrew’s advisory and private experience, coupled with his collaborative approach with clients, allow him to build tailor-made solutions that fit the need of the company and respond to the expectation of its auditors, board of directors, and shareholders.

Prior to joining Marcum, Andrew served as the principal financial officer at Psychemedics Corporation (NASDAQ: PMD). At PMD, Andrew was responsible to the board of directors for all accounting and financial matters. He oversaw key components of the finance function such as financial planning, accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, to name a few.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire and he is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
