About Benjamin

Benjamin Tenenbaum is a principal in the Digital Asset and Blockchain and Alternative Investments groups specializing in digital assets and blockchain technology. He has more than 10 years of accounting, auditing and business advisory experience and provides services to venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds and institutional asset managers in the digital asset and decentralized finance industries. Ben provides guidance on complex accounting areas such as fair value measurement, revenue recognition and derivative disclosures, and advises asset managers on operational security best practices pertaining to custody of digital assets. In addition, Ben has experience providing SEC reporting and registration services to public companies in the digital asset industry.

Ben joined Marcum in 2022 with the merger of Friedman LLP into the Firm.
