About Dan

Dan McIntosh is a partner in the Assurance Division of the Firm’s San Francisco office. Mr. McIntosh has over 13 years of experience working with public and private clients to address a wide range of financial, operational, and technology risk issues. He specializes in performing financial statement and internal control audits, including SOX Section 404 and business process analysis and improvement.

Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. McIntosh led global and domestic audit teams with a “Big Four” accounting firm in its San Francisco, Boston, and Luxembourg offices.

Mr. McIntosh holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business degree in Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Brandeis University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
