About Daniel

Dan Buzzard is a partner in the Firm’s Technical Review and Quality Control Group. He is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Firm’s assurance policies and procedures and compliance with governing bodies. In addition, he provides guidance to Firm professionals on technical accounting and auditing matters.

With more than 20 years of diversified experience, Daniel’s proficiency includes SEC reporting, internal controls attestation, mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, and PCAOB inspections, and other regulatory matters. He has extensive international experience providing audit coaching and PCAOB inspection support to Firms worldwide.

Daniel’s industry and technical areas including manufacturing, retail, software, revenue recognition, and business combinations. He also has experience with foreign private issuers and IFRS.

Prior to joining the Firm, he worked with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and spent time at the national offices of two “Big Four” firms in the Quality & Regulatory Practice, overseeing PCAOB activities and inspections, as well as internal quality reviews.
