Director - Cybersecurity & Data Privacy
Jaike Hornreich is a director of cybersecurity and data privacy within Marcum Technology. He brings more than 12 years of information technology security, auditing, compliance, and consulting in these fields to his clients. He has extensive experience performing and leading multi-disciplinary teams through technical security assessments of small, medium, and large organizations to achieve defined goals.
He works closely with his clients to help ensure their systems, data, personnel, and overall organization are prepared to meet the challenges of the current business, compliance, and security climate.
Mr. Hornreich’s teams dedicate themselves to identifying unique, hard-to-catch vulnerabilities, configuration flaws, or, process oversights in client environments that have helped mitigate the loss of millions of personal /covered records that could have triggered fines and breach notification scenarios.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hornreich delivered internal and external audits, IT control assessments, firewall segmentation and ruleset reviews, network security and configuration reviews, SSAE 18 (SOC 1 and 2 Reports), PCI, HITRUST, and other control-based security and data privacy audits. During that time, developed a penetration testing, cybersecurity, and privacy practice, performing assessments of network environments, web applications, and employees to meet compliance and customer requirements, secure cardholder and other confidential data, or, as a consulting effort to help reduce risk and liability.
