About Jenna

Jenna M. Allegretto is a director in the Assurance Services division of Marcum’s New Haven, Connecticut office. A Certified Public Accountant, Jenna offers more than ten years of experience providing assurance services to clients that have spanned a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, technology, life science, biotech, gaming, tribal governments, employee benefit plans, and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs).

Jenna offers an array of independent audit, attestation, and transaction advisory services to publicly traded and privately owned companies. She has been involved in and assisted with audits of internal controls over financial reporting, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, as well as ongoing SEC reporting and compliance requirements for publicly traded companies, including comfort letters, registration statements, and Form 10-Q and 10-K filings.

Jenna shares her knowledge internally to other Firm professionals as a Marcum certified trainer and Marcum counselor. She also shares her knowledge externally by serving as an adjunct faculty member at Fairfield University, teaching an Accounting Ethics course for the University’s Master of Science in Accounting program. The seminar is designed to increase students’ understanding of the ethical guidance available to accounting practitioners, as well as enhance each student’s ethical perception and decision-making skills, particularly with respect to ethical dilemmas in accounting.
