About John
John (Jay) E. DeVan, III is a senior advisor in Marcum’s Tax & Business Services group, with extensive experience working with clients in the real estate and professional services industries.
He specializes in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth clients and complex individual, partnership, S-corporation, and trust returns. His experience also includes leading audits of commercial banks and federal credit unions.
Jay was previously a partner at a regional accounting firm and then a principal at E. Cohen and Company, CPAs, an award-winning, nationally ranked CPA firm, which merged into Marcum in 2022.
