About Kirsten
Kirsten Ulzheimer, an advisory partner at Marcum and a member of the Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Support group, has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. Kirsten consults with clients on trustee proceedings and securities violations actions involving some of the largest companies in the world and their accounting firms, as well as in connection with derivative claims and other litigation, and also performs fraud investigations.
Kirsten provides a variety of consulting services involving complex accounting and auditing issues, financial statements, SEC issues, computation of damages, investigation of fraud allegations, marital disputes, assessment of internal controls, and financial analysis. She has assisted in many high-profile fraud cases. Kirsten also instructs on various accounting and auditing topics and has presented on accounting issues to a forum of lawyers, investors, analysts, and others.
Prior to joining Marcum LLP, Kirsten was a manager at a public accounting firm where she performed various audit services for public companies, including SEC reporting. She also worked for a large national bank where she specialized in internal audit services, including opining on the adequacy of internal controls.
