About Lisa

Lisa Miller is a director in the Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Services practice group.

Lisa has provided business and financial advice to attorneys and their clients in all phases of the litigation process, and evaluation of economic damages throughout the Southeast. She has served as an expert witness and provided testimony about opinions in court, depositions, and arbitrations. She has also been engaged to serve as an consultant to assist in damage evaluations for purposes of mediation and settlement discussions.

She works with counsel and clients to evaluate and assess the issues and the financial implications in disputes. Her experience has enabled her to identify relevant issues related to damages. Lisa’s keen sense to the details guides her through the evaluation process working with counsel and client. This experience has also been used to evaluate damages and identify relevant issues and damages estimates prior to filing of litigation, as well as for use in arbitration and settlement discussions.

Her experience includes disputes involving complex financial transactions; intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights; failed or unsuccessful business relationships such as franchise, distribution, or joint venture agreements; warranty claims; insurance claims; employment disputes; lender liability claims; and forensic analyses. Her experience encompasses a broad range of market sectors, including but not limited to, financial services; transportation including the automobile industry; manufacturing; technology; telecommunications; healthcare; and professional services.

Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Economics/Finance. She also has a Master of Business Administration. She also holds the credentials of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
