About Ray

Ray Brune is a partner in the Assurance Services Division. He has more than 30 years of experience advising clients in the areas of operations, taxation, auditing, business planning, finance and other matters. His experience includes companies and organizations in the nonprofit, professional services, manufacturing, real estate, retail and wholesale industries.

Mr. Brune has been instrumental in his clients’ growth and success over the years.

He was drawn to a career in accounting by his detail-oriented personality and exceptional understanding of numbers. However, it is his dedicated, patient and helpful attitude that have gotten him to where he is today. He is a firm believer that clients deserve the best possible service at all times, regardless of the circumstances.

He is an active member and volunteer in the St. Louis community. He has participated as an allocations panel member for the United Way of St. Louis and was a founding member of Holy Infant School’s marketing committee, among other nonprofit and board service.

Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Brune was a principal at BWTP P.C.
