About Steven
Steven Fischer is the partner-in-charge of Marcum’s New York City real state assurance practice and is responsible for overseeing the New York City real estate group’s day-to-day operations. Steven has served real estate clients in providing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, income tax basis, and fair market value reporting, as well with working closely with client on various complex tax, accounting, and organizational matters.
He serves clients in the commercial and residential real estate, real estate development, real estate funds, nonprofit, hospitality, and other service-based industries. Prior to joining Marcum, he was a partner at Friedman LLP, which merged into Marcum in 2022.
