Robert M. Pesce, CPA and partner-in-charge of the Accounting Services group at Marcum LLP, has been awarded the 2010 Best Accountant for Growing Businesses in the Entertainment and Media category by The New York Enterprise Report. “I am so proud to share this award with the knowledgeable and skillful professionals I work with every day at Marcum,” stated Pesce.“ This award is not only for me and my firm but also for the many clients and community members we serve. I want to thank them for their kind acknowledgements and for trusting me with their aspirations.”
The New York Enterprise Report announced winners for their inaugural event, The Best Accountants and Attorneys for Growing Businesses, at the Trump Soho on June 29, 2010. This special program recognizes and celebrates tri-state attorneys and advisors who “go above and beyond the call of duty” in helping their clients succeed.
“Business owners cannot do it alone. The event recognizes those professionals who have made a tremendous impact on the clients’ success,” The New York Enterprise Report publisher Robert Levin said.
Pesce began his professional career in 1996 when he joined the firm. His ability for successfully working with musicians, actors, authors and agencies led to his instrumental role in the founding of the Firm’s Technology, Internet, Media and Entertainment group.
Pesce is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he chairs the Nassau County Chapter’s Cooperation with Education Committee. He has spoken before industry groups on various tax topics and published numerous articles.
