Marcum LLP and Connecticut Technology Council Announce 2016 Marcum Tech Top 40 Winners; Stamford’s Revolution Lighting Named Connecticut’s Fastest Growing Technology Company

Hartford, CT – Marcum LLP and the Connecticut Technology Council tonight announced the winners of the 2016 Marcum Tech Top 40, an annual awards program recognizing the fastest growing technology companies in Connecticut. Results were unveiled at an awards reception at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford.

The overall 2016 winner is Revolution Lighting, a company engaged in the design, manufacture, marketing, and sale of light emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions in the United States, Canada, and internationally. It led this year’s companies with revenue growth of 2793% since 2012.

The Marcum Tech Top 40, now in its 9th year, recognizes technology companies with at least $3 million in annual revenue and a four-year record of growth, in six industry sectors. Both privately held and publicly traded companies are eligible.
