Marcum Search Appoints Recruiting and Accounting Veteran to Lead Temporary Services Division
Tori Piechocniski Joins Firm as Vice President
Marcum Search LLC, part of the Marcum Group, announced its new service offering for temporary employee placements and appointed Tori Piechocniski as Vice President to lead the division. Although Piechocniski will be focused on the temporary staffing business, she will also assist with growing the permanent placement area for Long Island and New York City.

The new temporary staffing division for Marcum Search will support businesses of all sizes with supplementary staff when conditions mandate, such as a busy season, long-term leaves, special projects, company growth and systems implementations. From entry-level to C-level positions, the division will work with clients to provide temporary staffing services using the same personalized approach it offers with its permanent placement services. Every engagement begins with a meeting to understand a client’s specific needs and company culture. The recruiting team designated for each engagement will conduct a candidate search to effectively unite high-caliber individuals with organizations.
With more than 20 years combined accounting and staffing experience, Piechocniski recently spent seven years as a senior staffing manager for the Accountemps division of Robert Half International. She specialized in the placement of accounting and financial professionals on a temporary basis for companies ranging in size from micro-businesses to large corporations. Under her leadership, Piechocniski raised $4 million in revenue ranking her as one of the top producers in the United States and achieving the $1 million and $3 million milestones in sales.
In 2002, Piechocniski shifted careers from accounting to recruiting. In 2000, she spent two years as a controller for Refac, a publicly-traded medical equipment manufacturing company in Edgewater, New Jersey. Previously, she was a controller for First Priority Group in Plainview, New York, a third party insurance and subrogation company. Earlier in her career, Piechocniski held accounting and auditing positions for Grumman Corporation, Tishfeld & Associates and Laventhol & Horwath.
An industry expert, Piechocniski presents to groups of job seekers on topics related to resume writing, interviewing tips and job searching strategies. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Hofstra University and resides in Long Beach, New York.
